Wonderful night for Reykjavik Visual at the Edda Award!

LJÓSBROT / When the Light Breaks has been deservedly reward at numerous festivals and awards abroad. On the 26th. of March 2025, it was time for the Icelandic Academy to render it’s verdict.

It’s with great joy and gratitude that we can annonce that Reykjavik Visuals Jörundur Rafn Arnarson, Christian Sjöstedt and Lea Benjovitz received the award for “Best Visual Effects” on behalf of all the wonderful people that work on the visual effects at Reykjavik Visual.

We are all very honoured and grateful that our Icelandic film family has chosen to reconize our work for LJÓSBROT / When the Light Breaks.

The night was a very successful night for LJÓSBROT / When the Light Breaks and went on to receive the Edda for: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress.
